I’m Andrea, and I remember sitting in the driver’s seat of my EH Holden (who I have owned and adored since 2002), hands tapping the steering wheel in time with my R&B music pumping out of my speakers and realising …
This was it.
It was 2010 and I’d just graduated from Shillington College with a degree in graphic design (after taking a detour in my business administration career).
For oh too many years, I’d been the tech guru, communication powerhouse and business genius spending my days casually – and single-handedly – doing things like taming 42 building supervisors covering the east coast of Australia.
But, finally, my inner creator, the lady that unapologetically geeked out on fonts, colour palettes and layouts, was ready to take everything she had learned, alchemise the hell outta it and start truly making a difference in the lives of women in business by becoming a heart-centred graphic designer.
If I could have gone back in time … I wouldn’t have changed my adventure even a little.
Everything I experienced, learned, studied and mastered made me the woman I am today.
And today, years later, I’m a Mama to two darling girls. A businesswoman. Gemini. Kind-hearted human … Plus the happy hippy at heart, here to help you succeed with visionary visuals and authentic designs.
I’m great at details, communication and empowering women to be the best version of themselves … but kinda suck at staying awake to watch a movie, saying “no” to late-night chips and chocolate, and walking away from Kmart with just one item in my basket (who am I kidding; I need the whole cart).
And as a graphic designer that’s also a wellness coach and business mentor, I really do get it.
